It felt like the wind grabbing onto the camper was going to make the whole thing tip over. And now there was hail too. Its at these times you start remembering all the stories of trees cashing down , crushing vehicles and lighting striking hydro lines. causing an explosion. And of course, tornados come to mind.
And then it was over…at least the worst part. The sky had settling into a lighter rain.
I was able get out an survey the soaked lawnchairs standing in puddles. The towels from the clothesline were plastered into the muddy ground.
Water was runnining in rivulets down the streets, and kids were out splashing in the muddy water. All in all, it was pretty cool, and the air felt clean and clean again. It was ging to be a good sleep tonight.
